9. View The Arches Of Legzira Beach!
Last but certainly not least, the final thing that you should consider doing during your vacation in Morocco is to view the arches of the Legzira Beach!
Let’s go ahead and uncover more about this famous and fascinating beach below:
The arches of Legzira Beach have long been one of the most popular tourist destinations for people who visit Morocco.
Why? Well, just like the name suggests – Legzira Beach has long been known for its unique natural stone arches that extend from the mountainous area right next to the rocky beach.
Still, despite its popularity – it is important to note that some of the arches unfortunately collapsed into the ocean in recent years, but there are still a few left standing so it’s definitely still worth making the visit.
The beach itself is stunning and is a very popular beach with tourists during the summer months, and is the perfect place to catch a tan and take a dip in the ocean when you need to cool off.
Plus, like we have already mentioned, there are still a few arches on Legzira Beach that are still standing, which means that you will be able to see some with your very own eyes…and even walk underneath one of them if you are feeling brave enough!
As we’re sure that you will have been able to see from the image that we have shared with you above, the arches are made from a deep red-colored rock, which only adds to the natural beauty of this beach.
If you are going to be taking a visit to see Legzira Beach and its famous arches with your own two eyes in person, then we highly recommend that you make sure to get there as early as you can to avoid the crowds.
Like we briefly mentioned above, Legzira Beach is extremely popular during the summer months, so if you want to spend a day there swimming and relaxing (and, of course, getting photos of the red arches) you should definitely try and get there as early as you possibly can.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to spend the day there but still want to view the red stone arches, we highly recommend that you visit Legzira Beach in the late afternoon/early evening so that you will be able to view a sunset.
As we’re sure you can imagine, the red stone of the arches looks absolutely stunning when the sun hits it, so what better way to experience the beauty of this beach than during golden hour at sunset?
After the sun has gone down, you’ll be able to take a stroll through the town area where you will find busy and vibrant streets filled with music, entertainment, plenty of shops and, of course, great restaurants and plenty of taverns to kick back and relax!
